This is a home and home set with the Roughriders and Calgary tonight in Saskatchewan.  The Roughriders were embarrassed last week in the second half and lost by 20 points as 10 points underdogs.  The 1-5 Roughriders have looked bad the last 2 weeks scoring a combined 18 points and giving up 76 points going 0-2 SU after their upset win against the Redblacks.  Remember teams are never as bad as they look the week before.  This week off the field issues for the Riders were made public as they were fined $15K for not playing the required number of Canadians last week against Calgary, and then fined $60K and forced to forfeit $26K in salary cap money on Thursday for practicing with ineligible players.  What makes this story so unique is that the man that ratted them out to the league is none other the Stamps QB Bo Levi Mitchell.  The QB even poked fun at one of the fines on Twitter saying “I bet none of the people they signed needed flights”.  Even the Riders play by play announcer Rod Pedersen is primed for this game tonight going on the Calgary radio this week with a warning that Bo Levi doesn’t know what ‘he’s in for’ when he gets to Taylor Field.  If this doesn’t fire up this team I don’t know what will, but the Riders should be playing with nothing to lose tonight.  We get the Riders in a flip flop divisional rivalry spot, a nothing to lose mentality and after this week in the media the Riders should have the extra motivation to win this one tonight in front of the home town crowd.
