Wednesday Bet Card

Losing day yesterday 1-3 with my card, but I'm not worried today is a new day and the best do have losing days so let's get going with today's action. 1* = $100  TOP FREE PLAY – 26-12-1 (68.4%) (+$5613) NBA YTD 16-20 (44.4%) (-$1118) MLB YTD 33-26-1 (55.9%) (+$3145) NHL YTD 17-12-1 (58.6%) (+$627) NFL YTD 1-0 (100%) (+$310) PARLAY’S YTD (1*) – 0-2 (0%) (-$200) YEAR-TO-DATE * - 2* 19-13 (59%) 3* 30-30 (50%) 4* 15-15-2 (50%) 5* 3-0 (100%) All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports TOP play in bold Brewers ml -103 (4*) - Brewers get there slugger back in the line-up tonight against the twins and look for Ramirez to make an early difference.  With the interleague game tonight he can land in the DH spot and land more power with the Brew Crew.  Nolasco in 8 starts against the Brewers he has posted a 2-3 record with a 7.58 ERA.  He is also 4-12 his last 16 starts in June including 1-9 his last ten at home. Brewers first 5 pk -110 (4*) Rockies ml -118 (3*) -  Going back to this play after yesterday wasn't the right spot for the win that I thought it was.  The game changer here for me is Arizona's Collmenter is coming off his best start of his career and once that is said, there is no way he will duplicate that performance back to back.  With the Rockies desperate for a win look for Collmenter to get lit up early and often tonight. Lyles has pitched well at home going 3-1 in four starts this season.

Tuesday Bet Card

Yesterday I took the day off because it was my anniversary, but I'm back at it today and ready to start another week putting checks by my plays.  Have a 8-1 run going on my TOP play after cashing another one on Sunday and look another one tonight.  All diamond tonight, love it, let's get it started. 1* = $100  TOP FREE PLAY – 26-11-1 (70.2%) (+$6013) NBA YTD 16-20 (44.4%) (-$1118) MLB YTD 32-23-1 (58.1%) (+$3891) NHL YTD 17-12-1 (58.6%) (+$627) NFL YTD 1-0 (100%) (+$310) PARLAY’S YTD (1*) – 0-2 (0%) (-$200) YEAR-TO-DATE * - 2* 19-13 (59%) 3* 29-29 (50%) 4* 15-13-2 (53.5%) 5* 3-0 (100%) All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports TOP play in bold Angels Team Total OVER 4.5 -102 (4*) - Waited for this line and got good value at -102.  Angels faced the A's aces and good pitching staff and now go face the Astros pitching staff.  It's like going from the big leagues to the farm team here, look for them to hit the ball all over the field tonight. Rockies Run line -1.5 +120 (4*) - Rockies come home for some much needed re-grouping.  Lost 4 straight on the road and this is there bounce back game here.  Arizona's Anderson has given up 9 runs (6 earned) in his last two outings and it's not going to get any easier tonight.  For the Rockies De La Rosa is hot right now 6-0 with a 1.80 Era over his last seven starts and with no Goldschmidt tonight you have a 10 home run, 38 RBI man out of the line up its  going to be hard to put runs up on the board. White Sox/Dodgers UNDER 7 +118 [...]

Sunday Bet Card

3-0 clean sweep thanks to the Jays and their bats yesterday and now have a nice 7-1 run going on my TOP play.  Looking for more today with lots of ball on the card. 1* = $100  TOP FREE PLAY – 25-11-1 (69.4%) (+$5621) NBA YTD 16-20 (44.4%) (-$1118) MLB YTD 30-21-1 (58.8%) (+$3932) NHL YTD 17-12-1 (58.6%) (+$627) NFL YTD 1-0 (100%) (+$310) PARLAY’S YTD (1*) – 0-2 (0%) (-$200) YEAR-TO-DATE * - 2* 19-13 (59%) 3* 28-28 (50%) 4* 14-12-2 (53.8%) 5* 3-0 (100%) All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports TOP play in bold Jays Team Total OVER 4.5 -102 (4*) - Jays bats are hot right now and this line is value for me here.  Mark is on the mound for the Jays which is why this line is coming down to 8.5, but I'm looking for the Jays to continue to swing the hot bat with the Dome open today and wind blowing 10mph out to center, the Jays will get it done again.  You can never count out the Jays with the power line up they got.  Guthrie has only 3 wins in 21 chances against the Jays.  Plus I looked into what theme day it is at the ballpark, always good to do that in your research, and it's cowboy day so going to get some rowdy fans heckling the Royals out there. Orioles/Astros OVER 8.5 -102 (4*) - There has been 3 UNDERS already in this series so look for the bats to come out here. Orioles/Astros OVER first 5 OVER 4.5-111 (3*) Braves/Marlins UNDER 7.5 -111 (3*) - The Marlins starter has faced the Braves twice this season and done well, only giving up two runs, one earned, [...]

Don’t overreact to the injury report

Everyday you see late scratches from the lineup and the line moves in favor of the team with the player who is not injured.  The betting public notices and they hurry to the counter to try to beat the odds-makers before the line changes.  This is public overreaction that I don't react to until the time is right.   The key to this process is patience, you need to have patience and wait till the time is right to make your move on the line.   This works particularly well in the NFL as the injury report comes out an hour and a half before game time.  The best thing to do is have a number in your mind on the game that you would like to see and if you see it before game time jump on it.  I don't blindly wager every time I see an injury of a player for a team, but if there is a majority of the public overreacting  to an injury you have to think twice about leaning with the public.  The media also plays a big role in pumping up how significant an injury can be to a team and everyone notices that and bets the other way.  Just use contrarian thinking and you will be adding bills to your stack in no time.

Early Saturday MLB card

All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports Tampa Bay/Yankees UNDER 8.5 -123 (3*) - After a 5 hour 14 inning game last night I think both teams are just waking up and won't be ready to go for this one.  The pitchers will be ahead of the batters in this one. Tanaka is taking the mound for the Yankees, he is 3-0 with a 2.27 ERA in 5 starts so far.  Tanaka has struck out 10 or more batters three times already this season and has a total of 46 across 35 2/3 innings.  He has been amazing and with a late night for both teams I see batting being an issue today. Added Bonus play for this game: Tampa Bay/Yankees UNDER 4 first 5 +108
