My free plays have really taken a turn for the worst as I continue to put more work into the upcoming football season and our premium plays here at D Rock Sports. If you haven’t already signed up for our premiums make sure you get on board now because we will be padding your bankrolls until the pigskin starts flying next week.
That being said, it’s unacceptable that my free plays have been losing at the rate they have been and I plan on changing that tonight with only one play on a very light board.

Philadelphia Eagles -3 (-130) $390 to win $300
The Eagles are 0-2 SU and ATS so far in this preseason with both losses coming on the road thanks to their defense not showing up and allowing opponents an average of 38 points per game. None of that means a whole lot once the regular season comes about but it’s clear that the Eagles have had their eye on making their offense very efficient while the defense stays healthy for the games that matter. The latter should change tonight as they get to play in front of their own fans for the first time in a Pennsylvania rivalry.
Philly has allowed 38 points/game and the Steelers haven’t even seen their first two games combine for that many points. Pittsburgh is 1-1 ATS and SU with games finishing 19-16 and 20-16 as that vaunted Steelers defense is primed for another good season. But they’ll have their hands full with Chip Kelly’s offense tonight and the Eagles will be looking to make them pay.
Philadelphia is 4-0 ATS the last four seasons during Week 3 of the preseason as they take this dress rehearsal game very seriously and aim to come out on top. Defensively I expect them to be much sharper tonight and offensively it will be business as usual. I’ve got them winning this game by at least 7 points so even if you have to lay the hook at -3.5 (-110) I would suggest you get on the home team tonight.
