1-3 yesterday and look to rebound today will a full slate of baseball and game 2 of the NBA finals.  After a few nice winning days and yesterday a losing day, it’s crucial not to go on tilt after a day like that and remember to use money management skills like the ones we talk about in our betting philosophy tab.  I NEVER guarantee plays or call them “locks”.  My highest rating of play is 5 star ($500) and would never guarantee it or call it a “lock”.  As always, below is my record breakdown by sport, by TOP play and by star rating.

TOP play in bold

Miami +4 -102 (4*) – Here’s the quick stats that make this a must play for me.  Trying not to go all square here on this TOP play, but can’t argue these stats:

1.  Heat are 5-0 in series after losing game 1 during the “Big 3” era

2.  Heat are 12-0 in last 12 playoff games following a loss

3.  Lebron James teams are 6-4 in series where they lose game 1, a better W-L then Micheal Jordon (4-6), Larry Bird (2-6) and Magic Johnson (3-5)

Miami ml +166 (4*)

Miami first quarter ml +125 (3*) – Look out Spurs James is pissed after all went on with cramp-gate.  The A/C is working and Gatorade is thirst clinching and the Heat have something to prove here after getting dominated 4th quarter.

Cubs ml +101 (3*) – Alvarez this season hasn’t won a road game, he is 0-2 with a 4.13 ERA in six away starts and hasn’t won on the road since Sept. 14th last season.  Chicago looking for its second 3 game sweep and has won eight of its last nine home games and has beaten the Marlins 8 of last 11 meetings.
