Wednesday’s Bet Card

Hope you cashed in on my 5* play yesterday, bringing my 5* record to 2-0 so far.  I love to jump on game 5's with the series tied 2-2 and game 7's for UNDER totals.   Teams tend to play tighter checked/guarded and play to make no mistakes as this is the pivotal game.  Tonight we have two NBA games which are tied up at 2-2 and three NHL series will be decided tonight and you don't want to pass up these betting opportunities. All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports Top picked is highlighted in bold Brooklyn/Toronto UNDER 190 -110 (3*) Mavericks/Spurs UNDER 198 -105 (3*)

Wednesday April 30th Betting Action

I was 1-3 last night with my plays but thankfully that lone winner was my big one that was never in doubt on the under in the Wizards/Bulls game. Baseball was frustrating as there were a few other plays that I left off my board that turned out to be good (Oakland being one) but that's neither here nor there at this point. This site is all about providing winners for you guys out there and I'm on a mission to do a better job of that. Tonight's card is a lively one with three Game 7's in the NHL, three NBA playoff contests and a full slate of MLB games. This is who I'm on. All lines taken from Carbon Sports with bet amounts "to win" on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold NHL YTD: 2-3-1 (-$14) MLB YTD: 3-7-1 (-$766) NBA YTD: 5-5-1 (+$158) NBA Plays: Houston Rockets -5 (-110) $330 to win $300 Portland won both games in Houston to start the series and I have a tough time believing they'll make it three in a row. Historically the numbers are astronomically against the Blazers to do so. A team that is up 3-1 in an NBA series and playing Game 5 on the road (Portland) is 17-48 SU in Game 5 in all rounds of the NBA Playoffs and only 2-16 SU when it happens in the first round. Washington's win in Chicago last night was the second time the road team got the W and I doubt it happens twice in 24 hours after only happening once before in the entire history of the league. Winning SU and covering this five-point spread are two different [...]

5* Game of the Week NBA Tuesday Night

All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports LA Clippers -7 -107 (5*) - With the recent news that Clippers owner Donald Sterling got ousted by the NBA, the Clippers can now just concentrate on winning and playing basketball.   Their website home screen was changed to "We are one" which looks like they are now ready to move on and look past this story.  Last game they lost bad and got into foul trouble early which Golden St. was able to take advantage of, tonight I see LA coming out hard like Golden St. did.  They have a lot to prove to all their fans and the basketball community that they can win and not be distracted by what happened.  I think them to make a statement first quarter and half and continue the momentum till the final buzzer.  5 star Clippers -7

Tuesday April 29th Betting Action

Yesterday was a rather frustrating day in the sense that I had weather postpone the Cubs/Reds game that I had two plays on and two of my other bets pushed on the number. Indiana had no chance of covering their spread and thanks to Patrick Roy's tactics of pulling his goalie with plenty of time left, Minnesota's empty-netters put me in the loss column. It's on to tonight's board though and with only one game in the NHL, it's baseball and basketball that I've devoted my attention too. All lines taken from Carbon Sports with bet amounts "to win" on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold NHL YTD: 2-3-1 (-$14) MLB YTD: 3-5-1 (-$336) NBA YTD: 4-4-1 (+78) NBA Plays:  Pick #1: Washington/Chicago Under 183.5 (-110) $330 to win $300 - All four games of this series have gone over the number so far, but with the Bulls in the surprising spot of facing elimination tonight I believe they turn up their defense to yet another level and make this game a race to 80 points. Washington has proved that they've got the better scorers throughout the first four games and with more scoring options to go to, Washington's chances to win increase the higher scoring this game becomes. Chicago won't go down without a fight and likely aren't going to lose all three at home in this series, so for them to force a Game 6 they'll have to rely on that top ranked defense from the regular season to get the job done. Pick #2: Golden State/LA Clippers Under 210 (-110) $220 to win $200 - This game is going to have a very eerily feel to it [...]

Bet Card for Monday

I hope we all increased our bankrolls yesterday with my 5* play on Golden State.  Also cleaned up on my 3 added bonus plays in total going 4-0 on NBA Sunday.  Also follow me on twitter @d_rocksports for some halftime action bets yesterday going 1-0 on my free twitter plays. All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports My top rated play of the day is: LA Kings money line -118 (3*) - San Jose is struggling defensively and as a result their goaltender is getting the boot tonight.  The Sharks are starting their back-up goalie Alex Stalock on the road in LA.  The Kings finally got the goaltending they needed last game with a 3-0 win in the shark tank.  I see another one of those performances tonight from the Kings a low scoring affair with Quick being the difference maker. Kings 3-1 I'm also backing: St. Louis run line -1.5 +148 (3*) - Brewers P Yovani Gallardo is 0-8, 8.17 ERA in last 10 starts vs. the Cardinals plus the Brewers will be without Ryan Braun and Jean Segura tonight witch is a huge loss for the team.  Look for St. Louis to batt around Gallardo and cruise to an easy win. Atlanta/Pacers UNDER 186.5 -108 (2*) - The total has gone under 3 straight games in this series and I don't see it changing at all.  Both teams play defense first and like to run down the shot clock look for that trend to continue. Added Bonus for the Parlay lovers: Kings ml, St. Louis run line -1.5, Hawks/Pacers under 186.5, Pens/Columbus over 5.5 4 teamer - +1867
