Tuesday September 9th Betting Action

I was 2-2 with my four premium plays yesterday (Jays Under 8.5, Pitt Over 8.5, Reds ML, Marlins Under 8) and didn't provide you guys with a great free play slate either (1-2). A few blown coverages and turnovers by the Giants cost me any chance at the 'under' while the Chargers/Cardinals game played out in a similar fashion to their preseason game this year. But it's time to take a break from football and recharge the mind for this weekend's upcoming action. We've got a full baseball board available to us tonight and I've already loaded up four premium MLB plays for subscribers tonight - including two very live underdogs. There are a couple more underdogs I've been eyeing all day for you all so let's get right to the free card. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post All Star Break: 37-35 (+$1945) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 6-3 ATS (+$656) NFL YTD: 1-3 ATS (-$515) MLB plays Minnesota ML (+146) $300 to win $438 Texas ML (+133) $200 to win $266 I'm grouping these two underdogs together today as both have seen significant reverse line movement with large majorities backing the better teams from Cleveland and L.A. However, L.A is in a tough spot as this is their third city in as many days after playing a make-up game in Cleveland yesterday afternoon and it's only a matter of time before all that travel catches up with them. The Angels also have their worst starter Hector Santiago on the hill and the Rangers [...]

Monday September 8th Betting Action

It was not a good start to the NFL season for me but results like that and my own personal lack of excitement/energy while watching some early games confirmed to me that I much prefer college football (betting, watching, researching) than the pros. Going forward you'll see way more CFB plays from me than NFL and although that may upset some of you, remember, you don't get extra money for having winning bets in the NFL over MLB, or CFB, or Aussie Rules football for that matter. Money plays no favorites, and a winning bet is a winning bet no matter the sport so stick to your strengths and minimize your weaknesses and your bankroll will grow. That being said, I'll still have many NFL plays for you the rest of the season and just like tonight's two free NFL plays, almost all of them will heavily based on fading the majority. In my opinion that's the only way to consistently beat the NFL as odds makers rake in hundreds of millions of dollars from bettors each NFL season from people that 'believe' they know the game, study rosters and handicap based only from what they see on the field. Those are all important factors when breaking down any specific game, but the odds makers know and have seen all that too and have incorporated that into the line. If all that has been accounted for and these sports books are still raking in the dough, what has to change for you to get similar results? Well, simply put, you take the side the sports books are "looking" for after 70$% or higher of the bets have come the other way. It worked yesterday with [...]

Friday September 5th Betting Action

It was a tough 1-2 day with my premium plays (Green Bay/Seattle Under 47, Stl/Pitt Over 8.5, Texas San Antonio +7.5) but for those of you that jumped on board my free plays managed to negate those losses with a 2-1 day and another TOP play winner. If it wasn't for a blown save by Boston's closer it would have been another free play sweep and that's what I'm aiming for tonight. It's going to be a very busy weekend with Week 2 of CFB and a full slate of NFL games on Sunday, so let's try and enter the weekend with a few more dollars in our bankrolls with tonight's free plays. I've got three CFB plays loaded up for premium clients tonight so make sure you sign up and get on board with those. So let's attack the MLB card with these free plays. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post All Star Break: 35-34 (+$1741) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 3-1 (+$484) MLB plays San Francisco/Detroit Over 8.5 (-115) $345 to win $300 Jake Peavy may be in a different league now, but he can't be happy to see the Detroit Tigers again. In two starts against Detroit (last year's ALCS and this season) with Boston, Peavy has an 0-2 SU record and has allowed 16 hits and 12 earned runs in only nine innings of work. Detroit put up 13 runs in those two victories as this lineup of great hitters clearly has a beat on Peavy. The Tigers are coming off [...]

Thursday September 4th Betting Action

The NFL is finally back and sportsbooks everywhere are being flooded with action now that all the recreational bettors have reloaded their bankrolls and ready for football. While football betting is great, remember a winning/losing bet on any sport still pays the same so don't be scared to continue plugging away on other sports like MLB because you can find some value in the lines in sports that many are ignoring right now. Your money doesn't know or care if it's being bet on in football or elsewhere, so stay true to the course and try and grind away profits. That being said, I've got two premium plays uploaded for subscribers on tonight's football action (CFB and NFL) so make sure you check those plays out. As far as free plays go, I've got three plays lined up for you all with baseball taking center stage. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 34-33 (+$1651) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 2-1 (+$284) MLB plays Boston/NYY Under 8.5 (-105) $210 to win $200 I almost feel as though I can post the same write up from yesterday's card for this play as once again bettors are flocking to the high side of this total between the Sox and Yanks. But we've already seen the opening number of 9 - key number in baseball totals by the way - be dropped to this 8.5 spot despite over 80% of the action coming in on the over. That's a move I simply can't ignore as the Red [...]
