Tuesday September 16th Betting Action

After a great weekend in football, it was tough to start out this week with an 0-fer as the Eagles and Colts provided the high-scoring shootout everyone was looking for and I should have just stuck to my guns about fading the Jays the rest of the way. Every Toronto loss pushes the Jays further on the brink of elimination and it's only a matter of time before that becomes official. There's only MLB action tonight and that's where my free plays are coming from tonight. Don't forget to check out the premium picks page  as I've already sent out three premium MLB plays out to subscribers for tonight. On to the free plays. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 40-39 (+$2183) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 8-5 ATS (+$529) NFL YTD: 3-4 ATS (-$333) MLB plays Chicago Cubs ML (-106) $212 to win $200 Tough to ignore the line movement in this one as the Cubs have flipped over to being the favorite against Johnny Cueto and the Reds. Cueto is clearly the #1 guy in Cincinnati and while this line move could be an attempt by bigger betters to scalp both sides at an underdog price (play Cubs earlier, Reds later), I have no problem backing the home team here. For one, Chicago is hitting the ball quite well right now and did beat Cueto and the Reds 3-0 at the end of August. That was the last time Cueto lost as he's won three straight starts since then and gone deep in [...]

Monday September 15th Betting Action

It was a strong weekend overall for us at D Rock Sports as I managed to go 5-3 ATS with my college football premiums and continued that momentum rolling with a 5-1 ATS day in the NFL on Sunday. Overall, my free plays went 3-3 on Sat/Sun and as we get into the final NFL game of Week 2 tonight, I'm looking to finish on an even better note. Baseball makes up the majority of my free play card tonight with the pennant races heating up, but I do have a MNF play for you all too. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 40-38 (+$2383) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 8-5 ATS (+$529) NFL YTD: 3-3 ATS (-$15) NFL play Philly/Indy Under 53 (-106) $318 to win $300 Everyone's expecting a shootout at Lucas Oil Stadium tonight with over 80% of bettors playing the high side of this high total. We've got two great offenses involved, so it's no wonder everyone is expecting plenty of points, but as I've said repeatedly in the NFL, it's generally best to be in the minority. Indy is looking to run the ball more after only 54 yards on the ground last week against the Broncos, although they did have to abandon it a bit with a 24-7 halftime deficit to overcome. However, the more the Colts run the ball and move the chains, the longer Chip Kelly's ultra-fast Eagles offense has to sit there on the sidelines and stew. The Colts are 5-14 O/U when coming off a [...]

Friday September 12th Betting Action

I went 1-0 with my free play yesterday on the Red Sox, and managed to go 2-1 for my clients with premium plays on Pittsburgh/Baltimore Under 44.5 (W), Louisiana Tech +4 (W), and Louisiana Tech/North Texas Under 48 (L). Friday's are always a very busy day for me as I gather as much information as I can for the upcoming football weekend and have already sent out an NFL side for Sunday's action to my clients. We've got a full MLB card as well as CFB action tonight, so lets get right to the picks. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 39-37 (+$2231) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 6-3 ATS (+$656) NFL YTD: 1-3 ATS (-$515) MLB plays Tampa Bay ML (+122) $300 to win $366 I was wrong about the Jays collapsing against the Cubs in that series finale as Toronto brought out the big bats and swept away Chicago. Toronto is still clinging to their playoff hopes and have a schedule the rest of the way that puts their destiny in their own hands, but do you really believe that's a good thing? Tonight they host the Rays a week after they swept Tampa in Tampa and it's the Rays turn for a little redemption Tampa is starting Nathan Karns tonight and nobody on this Jays roster has seen him before. Many will look to fade a young guy like this on the road, but the pitcher always has the advantage going into a game when no hitter has seen him before. [...]

Thursday September 11th Betting Action

It was a tough 0-1 day on Wednesday with my free plays as the Cubs got demolished yet again by Toronto and the Twins game was postponed. We've got a lighter MLB card today with some teams resting up on their final day off before the season ends and some football (CFB, NFL) to get down on as well. I've already released a premium play on tonight's NFL game so make sure you sign up here to get on board. I was 3-1-1 last night with my premiums and look to carry that momentum into the weekend. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 38-37 (+$1883) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 6-3 ATS (+$656) NFL YTD: 1-3 ATS (-$515) MLB Plays Boston Red Sox ML (+116) $300 to win $348 Buchholz has a 1.90 ERA over his last three starts and the Sox are 3-0 SU in those contests. He's already beaten this Royals team once this year when he outdueled James Shields and tonight he's up against Blue Jays cast off Liam Hendriks. Hendriks only has one start for the Royals (a win), but his last three starts have resulted in a 5.52 ERA (two with Tor) and if he doesn't get absurd run support numbers from his teammates, he usually leaves the game behind. Buchholz is 11-4 SU the last 15 times he's opened up a new series and has a 6-2 SU run going when he's an underdog of +150 or less. I think the pressure of being in the pennant [...]

Wednesday September 10th Betting Action

It was a solid day overall as I was 3-1 with my premium selections yesterday and 1-1 with my free plays, but my top play on Twins at +15- came through. It's all MLB action for me again tonight as we get ready for another weekend of football, so let's get right to tonight's selections. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with 'bet amounts' to win on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post All Star Break: 38-36 (+$2183) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 6-3 ATS (+$656) NFL YTD: 1-3 ATS (-$515) MLB plays Chicago Cubs ML  (+153) $300 to win $459 Here come those Jays again, building up hope for their fan base that this team can actually make a late September push and get into the playoffs. Toronto has won three in a row and eight of their last 10 overall, but they've got the inconsistent Drew Hutchinson on the hill tonight looking for the sweep. Hutchinson had a decent outing against Boston his last time out, but this guy is a ticking time bomb after a few solid starts and I believe the Cubs get to him. The Jays are 1-5 SU in his last six starts against a losing team, 0-8 SU when he goes in Game 3 of a series and 2-6 SU the last eight times he's been a home favorite. He's up against a young guy in Kyle Hendricks who has a 6-1 SU record on the year and Chicago is 9-1 SU in his 10 total starts this year. The Cubs love to give Hendricks plenty of support as they've scored 5.3 runs [...]
