About ATSskinner

Having been involved with sports betting for 7+ years now and working with some very successful handicappers along the way, I'm here at DRock Sports to provide you with successful sports betting information. With an emphasis on betting totals, I hope to help you all get on the winning side of the war against your bookie.

Tuesday September 2nd Betting Action

There's no way to sugar coat yesterday's disappointing day here at D Rock Sports as our premiums were shutout (0-3) and even my free play couldn't get there. Those are the days that can really hurt you when you aren't practicing proper money management because 0-fer days will happen and you can't react emotionally and start betting over your head chasing your losses. I'm not looking to do that today, but I do have a couple of free plays on the diamond for you all. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre-All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post-All Star Break: 30-33 (+408) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 2-1 (+$284) MLB Plays Cincinnati/Baltimore Over 8 (+100) $200 to win $200 It's rare to see the majority of bettors flocking to an 'under' in an Orioles game with the way they can mash the baseball and because of it I have no problem backing the high side of this total tonight. Reds starter Mat Latos has allowed 24 hits over 18 innings of work in his last three outings and that's led to opponents putting 6 runs/game on him. Baltimore is by far the best hitting team of the bunch and we can't forget about the Orioles 10-2-1 O/U record in their last 13 as a home favorite. Finally, Baltimore starter Bud Norris hasn't been sharp either of late as the O's are 5-0 O/U in his last five starts. That means that the Reds will be able to pull their own weight in putting up runs tonight as this game should hit double digits. Houston [...]

Monday September 1st Betting Action

I started the weekend strong with college football getting going and I ended it well on Sunday with another 2-0 sweep on my free plays. Hopefully I can keep this momentum rolling as the NFL season is mere days away but on this holiday Monday there are plenty of afternoon MLB games for me to dissect. It's the final month of the regular season in baseball so playoff contenders will either man up or buckle under the pressure and that's something to keep an eye on as the weeks go on. But let's just focus on today and get right to the picks. Don't forget to check out our premium selections as they finished up 9-4 ATS on Saturday and Sunday, banking our clients some nice dough. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break:101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post All Star Break: 30-32 (+$708) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD 2-1 (+$284) MLB Plays  Texas/KC Over 8 (+102) $300 to win $306 It's now September and the young KC Royals find themselves in 1st place in the AL Central. It will be a dog fight between them and the Tigers the rest of the month as both battle for that playoff spot and given the Tigers experience in that situation and the Royals inexperience, it will be interesting to see if KC collapses under the pressure this month. They begin a series with the lowly Rangers tonight and this is a series KC must win, but to do so they better bring the sticks with them. Colby Lewis and Yordano Ventura squared off about a [...]

Sunday August 31st Betting Action

The first Saturday of the college football season was very kind to us here at D Rock Sports as we went a combined 4-0 ATS with D Rock hitting a nice parlay and my free Twitter play on Toledo cashing as well. Premium plays went 6-3 ATS for our clients and with the total on the day being 11-3 ATS with a two-team parlay cashing, our clients and readers padded their bankrolls nicely to start the season. All football season I'll be out on twitter giving out free plays and breaking down games for you (especially in college) so make sure you come find me on twitter @ATSskinner. However, after a great Saturday we can't get to high as we've got to keep plugging away for you and with a few more CFB games on the card tonight, I will definitely have some plays/suggestions for everyone. My free play card is sticking to the diamond though as we've got series finales going off everywhere and some great spots that fit some of our systems here at D Rock sports. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post All Star Break: 28-32 (+$208) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NFL-X YTD: 2-3 ATS (-$26) NCAAF YTD: 2-1 (+$284) MLB plays Texas/Houston Under 8.5 (-115) $230 to win $200 Nothing like waking up and seeing 75% of the action on the high side of this total and the 'under' being the number that's tagged with juice. The main reason for that is we've got Tony Randazzo behind the dish and he's 2-13 [...]

Saturday August 30th Betting Action

Friday saw another free play go down as all that steam on the 'under' in the CFL game proved to be the right side. It's on to today's board though as we've got the first full day of CFB action and it's an exciting day for us here at D Rock Sports. We've got another great list of premium plays ready for our subscribers, but here are two free plays for those of you looking for some early action as some big reverse line movement has already occurred on two early totals. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB Post All Star Break: 28-32 (+$208) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NFL-X YTD: 2-3 ATS (-$26) NCAAF YTD: 0-1 ATS (-$216) NCAAF plays UCLA/Virginia Under 54.5 (-108) $216 to win $200 UCLA QB Brett Hundley enters the year as a Heisman hopeful, but it's a tough opener for the Bruins to be sharp simply because they've got to start out on the East coast. The total for this game has dropped three points from it's opener despite 70% of the action coming in on the high side of things. Virginia should be an improved team this season with 16 of 22 starters from a year ago and that includes nine on defense. Of those nine, all of them are on the back end with only two new DL earning starting spots this year and while the Cavaliers had a bad 2-10 SU year in 2014, this is a chance for them to step up  and prove they can hang with [...]

Friday August 29th Betting Action

My free plays took another nose dive yesterday with an 0-2 night, but our premium subscribers managed to go 3-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 ATS in college football. We've got five more NCAA picks going tonight for those subscribers so make sure you jump on board as we are primed to have a great football season. It's a busy day in the sports world, but I've found one free play in CFL action that warrants a bet as I'll continue to break down tomorrow's large NCAAF card for you all. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free play records MLB Pre All-Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 28-32 (+208) CFL YTD: 6-7 (+$34) NFL-X YTD: 2-3 ATS (-$26) NCAAF YTD: 0-1 ATS (-$216) CFL play Ottawa/Montreal Over 45 (-106) $318 to win $300 We've got a couple of 1-7 SU teams in the East battling it out tonight in the CFL and given how poorly both offenses have performed all year it's no surprise that everyone is taking the low side of this total tonight. However, it's not like either defense is spectacular either and both offenses have actually been making great strides the past few weeks. This is one of those games where the prevailing perception of how this game will play out is as a sloppy, low-scoring, grinding affair, but I've got a strong notion that we may actually see a shootout tonight. Ottawa's offense has been much better on the road all season and Montreal's offense is starting to find it's rhythm now that the players are finally buying into the new system. [...]
