Tuesday October 7th Betting Action

It was another good day for my free play as the MNF game between the Seahawks and Redskins managed to just stay under the total, stopping this crazy run of 'overs' in prime time games. That makes it 7 in a row for top free plays for me here @ D Rock Sports and I am 81-56-4 (59%) on my top free plays since we started back in late April. There isn't much on the board tonight with just the two NLDS games going on, but the later game has peaked my interest as I believe we finally see a few runs scored in this Washington/San Fran series. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 4-0 (+$1339) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 10-11 ATS (-$341)  NFL YTD: 7-8 ATS (-$198) MLB play Washington/San Francisco Over 6.5 (-123) $369 to win $300 We've yet to see a game in this series go over the posted total although we almost got their late in yesterday's contest. The Nationals managed to get the W and stave off elimination to force this Game 4 tonight and with a matchup of Gio Gonzalez vs. Ryan Vogelsong, we should see more runs cross the plate tonight. Vogelsong is 0-2 SU against the Nats this year and those two contests finished with 9-2 and 14-6 scores. Voegelsong wasn't responsible for all of those runs, but he did allow 9 earned runs in 11.1 innings of work in those two games as the Nationals bats worked him over. [...]

Monday October 6th Betting Action

It was a good weekend for my free plays as I was 2-1 in CFB, 1-0 in the MLB Playoffs and 1-0 in NFL, hitting all THREE of my top plays. It's a good feeling to start the MLB playoffs off with a perfect record (although my Angels futures when down in flames). However, it's back to the gridiron for tonight's free play as I believe we will FINALLY see this run of 'overs' in prime time NFL games come to a halt. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 4-0 (+$1339) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 10-11 ATS (-$341)  NFL YTD: 6-8 ATS (-$498) NFL Play Seattle/Washington Under 45.5 (-105) $315 to win $300 Washington got creamed on TNF last week by the Giants and Seattle got to rest and relax watching that beatdown on their bye. Kirk Cousins threw four INT's in that game and while I don't think he'll be so careless with the ball tonight, Seattle's defense is much better than the Giants and will make life difficult for him all game. Washington is on an 0-7 O/U run at home against NFC West teams and that streak should continue tonight. Seattle is 1-7 O.U in their last eight games against NFC teams and will look to play a sound road game by running the ball and controlling the clock. Washington's defense isn't as bad as those 45 points the Giants scored would suggest as they were put in some very bad spots with all those turnovers. [...]

NFL Week 5 Free Picks

Sunday NFL action is less than 24 hours away so before the numbers start moving too much on us and you're forced to take a bad line, I'm getting my NFL free picks out to you all now. As a general thought, after all those 'overs' last week (10-3 O/U) I'd be cautious about backing the high sides of totals this week and would guess that if you were to take every single game 'under' this week you'd come out ahead. That being said, my favorite 'under' bets this week would be in Philly, Atlanta, New Orleans, Detroit and San Francisco. As far as free plays go, I've got a side play in SNF that just missed out on making my premium card (I have sent out 6 plays) All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 3-0 (+$1039) pending CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 8-10 ATS (-$629) pending NFL YTD: 5-8 ATS (-$798) NFL plays New England +1/ML (-110) $330 to win $300 Everyone remembers New England getting blown out on MNF in KC last week and the Bengals could do no wrong for bettors in the first three weeks of the season. But the early season bye hurts a team like Cincinnati when they are on a roll and heading into New England to take on an angry Patriots team is not the position Marvin Lewis and the Bengals want to be in. Being a Cincinnati fan as I've stated many times on this site, I feel like I've [...]

Saturday October 4th Betting Action

My free picks swept the board in the MLB playoffs yesterday as the Cardinals came back in a big way against Kershaw and the Dodgers and the Angels/Royals played another low-scoring game. I'm going back to the diamond today with my free selections as it's the NLDS that takes center stage. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 3-0 (+$1039) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 8-10 ATS (-$629) pending NFL YTD: 5-8 ATS (-$798) St Louis/LAD Under 7 (-113) $339 to win $300 The pitcher's duel that everyone expected to see between Wainwright and Kershaw yesterday was quickly thrown out the window with the final score being 10-9. Well, after everyone's watched that game and saw all the runs scored, it's no surprise to see them pounding the 'over' again in Game 2 of this series with lesser pitchers on the mound. But baseball can work in funny ways and with it being a night game out in L.A, the ball will not fly as far by any means with that thick, damp air. Greinke and Lynn can be shutdown pitchers in their own right and tonight's the game we will see that 3-2 type game that everyone thought yesterday's would be.

Saturday Oct 4th College Football Free Picks

It's  time to look ahead to tomorrow's action and give you all three free plays that narrowly missed out on making my premium card that's been sent out to subscribers. It's never too late to jump on board as my Saturday College Football cards are typically full of winning action (10 plays this week), but for now let's get to the three plays that just missed out. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 1-0 (+$321) pending CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 8-10 ATS (-$629)  NFL YTD: 5-8 ATS (-$798) NCAAF Plays SMU +41 (-111) $222 to win $200 I'm never one to shy away from backing an ugly underdog and they don't get much worse than SMU right now. The Mustangs have only scored 1 TD all year and it came on the final play of the game against North Texas a few weeks back. This program is in complete shambles right now, are 0-4 SU and ATS, can't stop anyone and can't move the ball. So why am I grabbing the points with them this week? For one, East Carolina's bye couldn't have come at a worse time for a hot team. The Pirates are 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS this season and have looked good in all of their games to date. But they are 1-6 ATS when coming off a bye week and are certainly looking past this bad Mustangs team and ahead to USF. SMU is 5-1 ATS after playing in-state rival TCU and 8-2 ATS [...]
