It was a decent day with my free selections yesterday (2-1), but my NBA play never had a chance. So today I’m sticking only to football as I’m confident in the work I’ve put in all week on these games and look to finish up in the winner’s circle again today.

Miami/Detroit Over 43.5 (-110) $330 to win $300
Lions QB Matthew Stafford gets a few of his weapons back this week as TE’s Ebron and Pettigrew, along with WR Calvin Johnson will be back in the mix. All three of these guys demand attention from opposing defenses and we should see the Lions start flinging the ball all over the yard again.
I’m not sold on the Dolphins defense after they shutout the Chargers last week. It was a brutal spot for San Diego as they had to fly cross-country after three consecutive division games and just weren’t up to the task. Miami QB Ryan Tannehill will be able to throw the ball against a Detroit D that’s strength is up front as the Dolphins O-Line has been improving each week.
AFC/NFC games have been great for high-scoring affairs the past couple of seasons and this one should be no different.
Green Bay -7 (-120) $240 to win $200
The Bears and Packers are off their bye weeks but while one team looks poised to make a strong playoff push now (Green Bay), the other (Chicago) is a complete mess. Chicago’s players and coaches have lost most of their confidence in Jay Cutler and after the Packers frustrated him and beat him up in the 2nd half of the first meeting, this one at Lambeau might get ugly in a hurry.
