We’ve got another full slate of college football action on our hands on Saturday as I’ve spent the better part of the week going through all the games searching for the best plays to give to you guys. We’ve got a couple of huge rivalry games this week (Florida/Alabama), but with so many games and lines likely to move all over the place Saturday morning, I thought it would be best to get this play out to you all early so you can get the best of the number.

All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts ‘to win’ on favorites and flat on underdogs

UPDATED: Due to Winston being out for the entire game now, this is officially not a play

We all know about Jameis Winston being out for the 1st half of this game for disciplinary reasons,  but do you really believe he is worth about 6 points to this line?

Florida State is the deepest team across the board in the country and while they may be without their Heisman Trophy winner for the first 30 minutes, Winston’s teammates will be determined to pick him up. Clemson is a decent team, but they were smoked 51-14 by the Seminoles last year and it would have been 51-7 had Clemson not punched a late TD in during the final minutes. With the Winston news everyone and their mothers have come in taking the points with Clemson in their revenge spot, but I just don’t see how the Tigers, who were blown out on the road against a Georgia team that only has one real star (Gurley) keep this one close.

This has just been a huge overreaction by the majority of bettors here as Winston’s replacement Sean Maguire will just be asked to take care of the ball and make the safe plays. He was recruited to Florida State for some very good reasons as this guy can play, so don’t be shocked if the Seminoles head to the break up 7+ points. Winston can take it from there and you know he’ll be looking to create big plays to make up for his blunder.

Public dogs are always ones I love to avoid, but when it’s the best team in the country that’s getting no love, I definitely have no problem riding with them.
