It was a good weekend for my free plays as I was 2-1 in CFB, 1-0 in the MLB Playoffs and 1-0 in NFL, hitting all THREE of my top plays. It’s a good feeling to start the MLB playoffs off with a perfect record (although my Angels futures when down in flames). However, it’s back to the gridiron for tonight’s free play as I believe we will FINALLY see this run of ‘overs’ in prime time NFL games come to a halt.

Seattle/Washington Under 45.5 (-105) $315 to win $300
Washington got creamed on TNF last week by the Giants and Seattle got to rest and relax watching that beatdown on their bye. Kirk Cousins threw four INT’s in that game and while I don’t think he’ll be so careless with the ball tonight, Seattle’s defense is much better than the Giants and will make life difficult for him all game. Washington is on an 0-7 O/U run at home against NFC West teams and that streak should continue tonight.
Seattle is 1-7 O.U in their last eight games against NFC teams and will look to play a sound road game by running the ball and controlling the clock. Washington’s defense isn’t as bad as those 45 points the Giants scored would suggest as they were put in some very bad spots with all those turnovers. As long as Cousins takes care of the ball (and his OC will make sure of that by calling more runs and short passes), the Redskins won’t get lit up again.
Finally, this run of prime time ‘overs’ is bound to correct itself sooner than later and what better spot to get ahead of the curve with the defending champs and their top tier defense. Both teams like to run the ball which will bleed the clock and we could very well see a 24-14 type game like we saw in the 2013 playoffs when these two franchises last met.
