Wednesday Bet Card

Another solid outing last night going 3-1 and hitting my second straight TOP play with the Brewers money line.  It has been a great start to the week and want to continue this 2 day success with more winners in baseball for you today.  You will notice I DO NOT CAP any soccer and won't be at all during the World Cup or any other league.  As always is my updated record by sport, TOP play and star rating. 1* = $100  TOP FREE PLAY – 31-20-1 (60.7%) (+$4429) NBA YTD 23-23 (50%) (+$930) MLB YTD 46-47-2 (49.4%) (+$232) NHL YTD 17-13-1 (56.6%) (+$227) NFL YTD 1-0 (100%) (+$310) PARLAY’S YTD (1*) – 0-2 (0%) (-$200) YEAR-TO-DATE * - 2* 20-16 (55.5%) 3* 40-43-1 (48.1%) 4* 24-24-2 (50%) 5* 3-0 (100%) All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports TOP play in bold Philly/Braves UNDER 8 -120 (3*) - No J. Upton, B.J. Upton A. Simmons, J. Rollins, C. Ruiz or B. Revere for the game today.  That's 78 RBI's out of the lineup for the Braves and 48 for the Phillies.  Pitching is an issue for the Philly's with Roberto on the hill today, winless in his last eight trips to the mound (0-4).  But Philly's bullpen has been lights out if things get bad for Philly here.  Since June 3rd they rank first in the majors in ERA, opponent OBP, OPS, WHIP and strikeout/walk ratio.  Take the UNDER here with the bats out of the lineup. Philly/Braves UNDER 4 first 5 -107 (3*) Royals/Tigers UNDER 9 -117 (4*) - 2 straight OVERS look for a lower scoring game here.  No Tori Hunter or Austin Jackson for the TIgers today. Twins/Red Sox OVER 9 -105 (2*) - [...]

Tuesday Bet Card

3-0-1 last night and I absolutely needed that.  It's been a tough two weeks and nothing better then starting the week fresh and no losses, much needed.  I look to keep this fresh start to the week going so here you go with my plays. 1* = $100  TOP FREE PLAY – 30-20-1 (60%) (+$4097) NBA YTD 23-23 (50%) (+$930) MLB YTD 43-46-2 (48.3%) (-$569) NHL YTD 17-13-1 (56.6%) (+$227) NFL YTD 1-0 (100%) (+$310) PARLAY’S YTD (1*) – 0-2 (0%) (-$200) YEAR-TO-DATE * - 2* 20-15 (57.1%) 3* 38-43-1 (46.9%) 4* 23-24-2 (48.9%) 5* 3-0 (100%) All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports TOP play in bold Brewers ml -117 (4*) - Going back to the Brew Crew tonight for my TOP play.  Lohse has had some rough patches, but has pitched into the seventh inning in 10 of his 14 starts and has a rotation leading 1.04 WHIP.  Miley on the other hand hasn't won since May 10 a span of seven starts.  Miley loves to serve up the long ball and has given up 16 homers. Twins ml +153 (2*) - This season Phil Hughes (10-3 and +9.9 units) has been the most profitable starting pitcher to bet on.  Hughes is 3-1 in his last five starts against the Red Sox.  Lester is 1-4 vs. the Twins in his career. Take the Twins Angels ml +112 (3*) - Angels hardly lose back to back games this season and look for them to bounce back.  No Brantley for the Indians tonight and that's crucial cause he leads the team in home runs (11) and RBI's (46) that's a big loss for them. Angels Pk first 5 +111 (3*)

Monday Bet Card

I'm in a 14 day cold streak in baseball right now and need to get out of it.  I look to finish off in the positives before the all star break, so look out because I never give up I just keep my patience and look for those situations to maximize my profits.  One thing you should know about my plays is that I do look for the best value at the right time and NEVER will you see me take a play over -140.  We still have a good chunk of the baseball season left and lots of opportunities to cash in so let's start cashing today.  Here's my updated record as always by sport, TOP play and star rating. 1* = $100  TOP FREE PLAY – 29-20-1 (59.1%) (+$3645) NBA YTD 23-23 (50%) (+$930) MLB YTD 40-46-1 (46.5%) (-$1489) NHL YTD 17-13-1 (56.6%) (+$227) NFL YTD 1-0 (100%) (+$310) PARLAY’S YTD (1*) – 0-2 (0%) (-$200) YEAR-TO-DATE * - 2* 19-15 (55.8%) 3* 37-43 (46.25%) 4* 22-24-2 (47.8%) 5* 3-0 (100%) All lines courtesy Pinnacle Sports TOP play in bold Seattle ml +108 (2*) - Padres have lost 6 of 7 after a series loss to the Mets.  Taking a home dog here isn't a bad thing against a cold team like the Padres.   Plus, San Diego has to go from New York to Seattle which is a long travel across the time zones here and Seattle will already be waiting for them. Take Seattle. Brewers ml +113 (4*) - There's no way I'm laying juice with Brandon McCarthy on the mound tonight for the Diamondbacks.  This guy is bad, he's on a personal 3 game losing streak and he's 1-9 with a [...]

Monday June 16th Betting Action

Yesterday's plays went 1-2, but it was my third straight loss on my Play of the Day that really stung. Those are the plays I really want to see cash in for you guys and after a strong run (8-0-1), losing three straight sucks. Thankfully, we've built up a bit of a cushion with our bankroll with those plays to withstand a few losing days, but I don't plan on losing my top play tonight. With the NHL and NBA officially in off-season mode now, it's only MLB action that's available to us so let's get right to it. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts "to win" on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold NBA YTD: 12-13-1 (-$187) NHL YTD: 10-13-3 (-$217) MLB YTD: 63-67-8 (+$835) MLB plays Philadelphia ML (+118) $200 to win $236 Cleveland ML (-110) $330 to win $300 Fading teams after they played in the national spotlight of Sunday Night Baseball is something I love to do and both these games fit that bill tonight. Philadelphia is in Atlanta to take on the Braves and Cole Hamels continues to get + money prices. He was once a dominant pitcher in the NL and has slowly been rounding back into that form this year.  He can shut down a Braves lineup that has struggled against southpaws all season and with only 30% of the bets coming in on the Phillies and the line moving in their favor, this is a play you have to jump on. We've had similar line movement for the Indians as they are in the 35% range of backers yet they've flip-flopped from being a small home dog to a [...]

Sunday June 15th Betting Action

Was stung yesterday with my plays, going 0-2 but it's still been a good week and I'm running short on time so let's get right to it. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts "to win" on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold NBA YTD: 12-13-1 (-$187) NHL YTD: 10-13-3 (-$217) MLB YTD: 62-65-8 (+$1150) MLB Plays Washington/St Louis Over 7.5 (-105) $315 to win $300 NYY/Oakland Over 8 (-106) $212 to win $200 Texas/Seattle Over 7.5 (+111) $200 to win $222 All three of these plays have something in common. They are all series finale games that have seen the first two contests stay under the total. I'm going back to the well with Washington/St Louis tonight as I do believe we see a few more runs tonight without Strasburg and a surging Shelby Miller on the mound. Those two other games in the AL West have some suspect pitchers taking the hill as well (Nuno, Chavez, Martinez) and it's not like Iwakuma will continue to be lights out the rest of the year. All three of these games fit the bill of trying to flip the total in a series finale should the first few games in a given series finish with the same total result. For those that are interested, there are a few other games that apply with some of them starting soon. I will not be using these as plays but that's only because they narrowly missed the cut: Pittsburgh Under, Toronto Over, White Sox Under, San Fran Under.
