Friday October 31st Betting Action

I managed to get another sweep with my free plays yesterday, but I wasn't so lucky with premiums as my three NHL ML dogs blew leads in the 3rd period and eventually lost in OT. I'm looking to keep it rolling with my free selections tonight though as I've got two of them for everyone to jump on. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 5-2 (+$970) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 18-17 ATS (-$161)  NFL YTD: 9-12 ATS (-$932) NHL YTD: 6-3 (+$1002) NBA YTD: 2-0 (+400) NBA Free Pick Memphis/Indiana Over 185.5 (-106) $318 to win $300 These two teams have been known for their grinding, defensive style of play the past few years, but with Indiana still missing most of their starters and the Grizzlies playing more uptempo this season, I think we've got some tremendous line value here with this selection. Both teams easily went over their respective totals in season opening wins on Wednesday and I expect to see a similar result tonight with this game finishing just under 200 points. NHL Free Pick Nashville/Calgary Over 5 (-110) $220 to win $200 The Flames wrap up this five-game homestand tonight against Nashville and with a 1-3 SU record so far during this time at home, Calgary is looking to salvage what they can from this time. To do that they'll need to start putting pucks in the net as they've scored a single goal in all three of their losses during the homestand, but recent [...]

Thursday October 30th Betting Action

Swept the board yesterday with my free picks as Madison Bumgarner and the Giants defense preserved an early 3-2 lead for the game to stay under. Detroit won in the NHL and the Bucks did their part by leading the majority of the game before blowing the lead late but covering the spread. Tonight it's a large board of action with games in CFB, NFL, NHL and NBA and I've found a couple of free plays for you all tonight. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 5-2 (+$970) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 18-17 ATS (-$161)  NFL YTD: 8-12 ATS (-$1132) NHL YTD: 4-3 (+$502) NBA YTD: 2-0 (+400) NFL Free Pick New Orleans/Carolina Under 49.5 (-105) $210 to win $200 Although the Saints offense lit it up last week against Green Bay, I don't trust them to do the same outdoors on a short week against a division rival. The winner of tonight's game will be in 1st place in the NFC South with a .500 mark and although the season is only halfway done, the stakes are quite high here. Last year the Panthers won 17-13 here at home thanks to two INT's. I do think we will see more points than that tonight, but I don't believe we will see 50+. The Panthers defense is starting to find their stride again after a grueling battle with the Seahawks last week and the Saints D looked quite good in that 2nd half vs. Green Bay. I know [...]

Wednesday October 29th Betting Action

Had a 2-1 night with my free selections yesterday with the lone loser being my longshot on the Carolina Hurricanes to win their first game of the season. It was a 1-0 start to the NBA season though, and with a full slate of games tonight and Game 7 in the World Series there is plenty of action out there to let's get right to it. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 4-2 (+$670) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 18-17 ATS (-$161)  NFL YTD: 8-12 ATS (-$1132) NHL YTD: 3-3 (+$302) NBA YTD: 1-0 (+200) World Series Free Pick SF/KC Under 7 (-105) $315 to win $300 There is nothing like a Game 7 of a Finals series in any sport and this World Series Game 7 should not disappoint. This series has been back and forth throughout with blowout win matched by blowout win, but I believe we see a much tighter game tonight as both teams pull out all the stops with no possibility of another chance. That means we will likely see Madison Bumgarner for the Giants pitch an inning or two, both bullpens work overtime, and guys laying out all over the diamond to make a play. Of the last six six times we've had a Game 7 in the World Series (dates back to 1987), the home team has won all six games, but more importantly we've had final scores of 6, 1, 5, 5, 5, and 8. There were two extra inning games [...]

Tuesday October 28th Betting Action

With the NBA season starting tonight and a full slate of NHL action we've got a busy card tonight. We can't forget about Game 6 of the World Series either so let's get right to tonight's free plays. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 4-2 (+$670) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 18-17 ATS (-$161)  NFL YTD: 8-12 ATS (-$1132) NHL YTD: 2-2 (+$202) NBA YTD: 0-0 NBA Free Pick Houston/LA Under 207 (-107) $214 to win $200 The Lakers may have Kobe back this year but we really don't know how well he'll play out of the gate coming off another serious injury and quite frankly he doesn't have much help around him. New coach Byron Scott has made it a point this year that the Lakers will be much better defensively and limit their 3-point shots - two things which are very good for under bettors. Houston is out to play much better defense as well this year as they know they'll be able to score, but being better in their own end will help them take that next step into becoming a true contender. With the offense still needing some time to get into their groove, we won't see Houston be as efficient as they will be down the road and that's why I'm taking the low side of this total. NHL Free Picks Ottawa ML (-105 ) $315 to win $300 The Senators navigated their way through a very emotional weekend after the shootings in their [...]

Monday October 27th Betting Action

I passed on free plays for yesterday's NFL action as I had 8 premium plays for subscribers finish with a 4-4 ATS record. Tonight there isn't much on the board with only two NHL games and the lone MNF game and I haven't found anything that warrants a top premium play tonight. However, I do have one total tonight that I think warrants some attention for my readers and am making it my lone free play of the day. All lines taken from Pinnacle Sports with bet amounts 'to win' on favorites and flat on underdogs Play of the Day in Bold Free Play Records MLB Pre All Star Break: 101-107-13 (+$691) MLB post All Star Break: 47-43 (+$2817) MLB Playoffs : 4-2 (+$670) CFL YTD: 6-8 (-$266) NCAAF YTD: 18-17 ATS (-$161)  NFL YTD: 7-12 ATS (-$1438) NHL YTD: 2-2 (+$202) NFL free pick Washington/Dallas Under 48.5 (+102) $300 to win $306 If you shop around you'll still be able to find some '49's' out there and if you can grab one I'd get all over it. Prime time games are an astonishing 20-4 O/U this year and while I've routinely said that number will regress to the mean, I'm not so sure anymore. However, I do think there will be more unders than overs in these stand alone games going down the stretch as the weather gets colder and playoff races heat up. That's not why I'm making this play, but it was part of the thought process. Rather, I'm backing the 'under' tonight because I foresee a lot of running from both sides and that leads to the clock continuously running and the game shortened. Quite frankly, Washington must look to shorten the game [...]
