 Yankees ml +145 (sportsbook) risking $100 to win $145 – This number is now in the range to fire on the home team here.  Price had an outstanding opening for the Jays and hence this number has sky rocketed up with the public seeing that and knowing that the Jays have won six straight.  Price has actually got rocked the last two trips to the mound at Yankee Stadium being tagged for eight runs each game and failing to make it past the third in both outings.   Over the last two seasons Price vs. the Yankees – 7.59 ERA, Opponent BA .361 and has averaged only 5 and a third innings of work.  New York is 8-1 straight up versus LHP since the all-star break and have put on more runs against lefties this year than any other team.  Yankees have Nova on the bump today who is actually 4-1 against the Jays in his career and New York is 5-0 in Nova’s home starts vs the Jays going 3-0 with a 4.44 ERA.   With a lot at stake in this series the Yankees are every bit capable with pulling out a win at home today and at this price and with the public falling in love with this Jays team and having to pay a premium betting them, this is a great opportunity to get plus money with the home team who in every way can win this game.

This will be the Argos first home game this season, they have played five games on the road because of the Pan Am and Jays schedules and managed to come out with a winning record 3-2.   Argos have covered 4 of five of those games on the road and now get the dismal Riders at 0-6.  Argos have been out on the road since June 18th and after almost two months on the road hanging with teammates they now come back to family and friends and their routine changes completely.  This spot tonight is a highly unfavorable one for the Argos that I love to exploit and maximize profit.  Riders 0-6 come in playing four of their first six games at home under media surveillance and nothing has gone right for them there.  The best thing for a team after a dismal start is to get out on the road and build chemistry together.  This is a great spot for the Riders getting 10 points with this inflated number to back here tonight against a team coming back from a grueling opening schedule who could get caught in that “letdown” spot.  Take the Riders to cover here tonight.
