We got a nice easy winner with the Lakers last night although they were doing everything they could to blow it during the last few minutes of regulation. I’m still nowhere near where I want/need to be in the NBA this year but am playing another home underdog tonight that’s got a similar situation.

I was on the Lakers last night because the Bulls were in a great letdown spot after beating Golden State and looking right past L.A to their game with Phoenix tonight. Well lo and behold, we’ve got the Warriors out on the road tonight laying heavy chalk against a team they just beat up on a few weeks back before playing a game with Phoenix tomorrow.
Golden State beat the Jazz here in Utah 116-105 a couple of weeks ago, but that game was tied at half. A hot shooting 3rd quarter from the Warriors (scored 44 points) blew the game wide open and they cruised from there. But tonight’s their first game since seeing their 19-game home winning streak snapped as they didn’t make a 3-pointer the entire 2nd half of that game vs. Chicago. Curry hasn’t been knocking down his normal shots the past few games and the rest of the team looks like they are stuck in the dog days of the year before the All-Star break.
I said yesterday that heavy road favorites are ones I look to play against and tonight is no different. Utah is 3-1 ATS in their last four games overall and are 10-4 ATS after their last 14 losses. This is quite a lot of points to give up for any road team and I’ve got no problem grabbing them.
