Seahawks -11 -105 (1*) – Carolina is pure garbage.  They do not deserve to be in the playoffs and wouldn’t be if they were geographically in another location.  11 points is a lot to lay in a playoff game and underdogs have statistically done well in the divisional round against the #1 & #2 seeds, but I see the points in this specific match-up not affecting the outcome at all.  The Panthers were lucky to win the game last week against the Cardinals as they gave the Cards many chances to win that game.  The Panthers had only three road wins this year and none of them came against a team with a winning record.  The Panthers are a weak football team and today will suit up as many as eight rookies on the field in one of the most hostile places to play in football.  I look for the Seahawks to be given excellent field position all day long from their strong defensive unit forcing three and outs with excellent starting field position for the Seattle.  The Seahawks will stick to the ground and pound method and Wilson will damage the secondary picking up first downs with his feet and the Panthers D come fourth will be fatigued and gasping for air.  Cam Newton was dancing on the sidelines in the final seconds of last week’s win and doing Hulk poses and jumping up and down like an idiot with time still on the clock.   The win was a bonus and good for the Carolina franchise, but come on, they celebrated like they just won the Super Bowl and played upset to a the favorite.  Like I started this, Carolina is awful, they will get routed today and Carolina will have trouble scoring in this one, take the Seahawk’s.
