It appears as though the time away did me some good as I swept my two free plays last night to get back on track. Today we’ve got a full slate of NFL games as well as a bunch in the NBA, but we can’t also forget about the championship football game that’s going on today: the Grey Cup. It’s been a long time since I’ve posted a CFL play, but that has made my card today.

Hamilton has made it back to the Grey Cup for the 2nd straight year and last year’s blowout loss to Saskatchewan was rather humbling. They are up against a Calgary team that lost in this game back in 2012, so heartbreak will be relived for one of these two teams, but I believe the Ticats find a way to get it done.
Hamilton was 0-2 SU against Calgary this season but both contests were rather early in the year and neither of them featured Hamilton starting QB Zach Collaros. Hamilton has surged the entire 2nd half behind their talented young QB and having not played in the two previous meetings with the Stampeders he gives Calgary something else to prepare for. This Grey Cup should come down to the wire as those 9 points are too many and if they are the ones that get a bounce late or make a key play, Hamilton will be the ones flying back home with that trophy.
